WNDD’s cornerstone is the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
The CEDS is a locally based, regionally driven economic development planning process and document that successfully engages the region’s community leaders, private sector partners, and stakeholders.

WNDD membership includes the seven counties of Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Mineral, Pershing, Storey and Washoe and the cities of Fallon, Fernley, Lovelock, Reno and Sparks.

Western Nevada Development District (WNDD) works with public and private entities to promote collaboration to address economic development issues throughout the region.
WNDD is certified by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) as an Economic Development District (EDD) for a seven county region in western Nevada. WNDD membership includes the counties of Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Mineral, Pershing, Storey and Washoe and the cities of Fallon, Fernley, Lovelock, Reno, and Sparks.
