Chris Brandon joined WNDD as Executive Director in May of 2022. She has unique and varied experience in the areas of: economic development, engineering, project and program management, and leadership of non-profit organizations. Notably, she served as Board Member on the City of Arlington’s Industrial Development Board, where she was responsible for encouraging and attracting industrial development, and collaborated with various organizations to entice new businesses through tax incentives, special permitting and government lease programs.
Brandon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. After obtaining her degree, she worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers where she presided over the environmental cleanup of hazard waste sites identified by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Defense. Later, she became the Regional Director for Environment and Safety for the Central Region of the FAA, and ultimately promoted to the National Deputy Director for Environment and Safety for the FAA.
Brandon has also started two small businesses, an environmental consulting company, and her current company, Brandon’s Antiques and Collectibles. She is involved in many civic organizations and believes in being part of the solution in moving communities forward.

McKenna attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2021. Upon graduation, she embarked on the career field of marketing, website design, and social media. In 2024, Anderson joined Western Nevada Development District as an Economic Development Specialist.
McKenna enjoys the dynamic challenges of finding solutions for communities, whether it is urban or rural. Originally from Foresthill, CA, Anderson received her Associates Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Sierra College where she was an accomplished softball player. Today, she enjoys coaching girls of all ages in her spare time.
