Leaders Around the Region Conveyed for Insightful Event
Policy makers, economic visionaries, business leaders, and community stakeholders from across the region gathered in historic Virginia City, Nevada last week for a pivotal event focused on shaping the future of economic growth in Nevada.
This year’s theme, “Building a Stronger Nevada” reflected on the critical need to adapt in the face of rapid growth and funding constraints. Key topics included rural resources, funding, infrastructure and the Nevada Main Street program.
On Monday, April 21st, attendees embarked on a fantastic tour of the Crown Point Mill guided by Storey County Commissioner, and mill owner, Clayton Mitchell. History was brought to life as visitors explored the labyrinth of catwalks, and massive historic equipment.
The evening brought great food, entertainment and fun for all with special appearances by Congressman Mark Amodei and Nevada Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony.
The Summit explored the latest in economic development and provided networking opportunities designed to foster growth and collaboration. A diverse lineup of speakers and panelists provided relevant and targeted information.
